TK has been Toronto's fave grrl on the scene for over a decade. Starting out by spinning alternative and industrial music and producing her own local club nights, her interests evolved towards house and techno beats soon after discovering Toronto's wild underground electronic dance music (EDM) scene. Over the past decade she has made her mark from Toronto to Mexico spinning tight mixes and working the equipment to it's full potential. Her funky, technical style and energetic stage presence is always a crowd pleaser. She currently holds residencies with some of Toronto's top clubs and has helped create some of the city's most dynamic club brands--The Comfort Zone, Footwork, Bitchslap, UNCZ--and is the only woman spinning in a spa for men in North America. Toronto's Excess, has been home to TK's chunky, charged sets for over four years. An active film music producer, TK's original music has been featured in the documentary films "Team Shoulder Pads" (Gill/Greene, 2001, CBC), "Journalism Under Fire" (Greene, 2002, CBC), and "Suhail's Jihad" (Gill/Greene, 2003: Inside/Out Festival; Pridevision; PBS). TK recently completed original music for documentary film "The Metroscope" (a project for the National Film Board- 2008). As for electronic dance music production, after countless shady remixes and original beats being turned out to clubbers' delight, her “Ramlover” remix of Michael O’Howe’s “The G-Funk” with digital label, Don’t Look Productions is now available on Beatport.com, iTunes, Trackitdown.net and other fine digital music retailers. From websites and television commercials to full stage productions, TK's corporate/commercial clients include: Sureflix, Nine One One Maxim Technologies and Circus Orange. TK is also a director with promotion and production company, Noom. RECENT PRESSEye Magazine (July 2008) "Best Bets", Benson, D. Eye Magazine (June 2008) "Best Bets", Benson, D.
